Data Access

BCOR encourages research. Researchers wishing to access de-identified data from BCOR will be required to submit a Data Access Form below. This should be accompanied by a relevant ethics committee certification. For questions relating to the Data Access Policy, please contact us.

Requests from participating clinicians, institutions and academic organisations will be fulfilled without charge. Requests from non-participating institutions or external parties will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the BCOR Research Subcommittee, Chaired by A/Prof Tarik Sammour, and may be subject to a processing fee.

The Research Subcommittee meets monthly to approve data requests, and ensures projects remain on track, and are statistically sound. Projects incomplete after 12 months will be closed to allow other researchers to access data. Researchers may have one active project at a time to ensure fair access to other parties. Once a project is complete, a further project may be applied for.
